TurboAngel 04-28-2005 06:19 AM

I just spent a hour with the cop's.

I told you all about the nice neighbor dieing and how all the old lady's were fighting over his stuff (he was a mad player, 7 wifes and all) well one of the lady's change the locks and the last wife (#7) came over and called the cop's. Now they have big "No trespassing" sign's up to keep the other lady's away.

The cop's had to come over and talk to me :( to find out who changed the locks. I feel bad cuz now the want me to call 911 if I see anyone over there. The lady is like 80 something (the one who changed the locks) I dodn't want to call the cops on a little old lady. :(

It's so sad to see people fighting when someone dies. The worst thing is he was a junk man and they are fighting over TRASH, I don't get it.

:(

pushpills 04-28-2005 06:22 AM

7 wives or 1 wife and 6 girlfriends? I would think if the cops knew they'd give him some shit for bigamy if anyone said anything about it.

I can't imagine calling the cops on a 80 year old lady.....

How old are the other wives? He's doing pretty good for a junkman!

Trixxxia 04-28-2005 06:23 AM

Sad to see it resort to that - but there are two scenarios for the fighting:
1) each wife wants to feel that she was 'more' special to him and get one extra sentimental piece of him or his possessions
2) there's a hidden treasure in the trash

Actually - you wouldn't believe how many things of value are in trash. For the right buyer, that trash is gold.

Spunky 04-28-2005 06:24 AM

Yep they are like vultures picking at your eyes when you're dead :(

TurboAngel 04-28-2005 06:29 AM

I know how "One mans trash is another mans treasure", but boy oh boy the house has a real bad smell. They will have to gut it in order to do anything to it. He didn't live in the house cuz it was full of junk.

He has 6 ex wifes and #7 and him were still married but he died with his g/f in a car accident.

pushpills 04-28-2005 06:41 AM

I have an idea that they have to be fighting over something. Too many times I've seen people that collect junk and has a huge bank account.

I've seen both.

My grandpa never pinched a penny. He lived well all the way to the end.

His sisters husband was as cheap as you could get. One example is that they never bought a washer because it was too expensive and it would use electricity. So they did all laundry by hand IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT because electricity was cheaper at night. They were loaded too.
He's dead now, but she's still alive but probably not for long. The Vulture's has already started to flock.

Fuck the Vulture's.

I used to always worry about that when I was married. If I was out driving with another woman and I got in an accident, what would happen? I would have been fucked.

Luckily I'm divorced.

TDF 04-28-2005 09:19 AM

thefool 04-28-2005 11:21 AM

the house we bought, was owned by 1 lady, she never married or had kids, and she took care of her mother, til the mother died. When she passed away, she left the house a local church. Our realitor said that when the church got access to the house, it was like a feeding frenzy. He said that about 20 little old ladies pounced on the house like rabid beasts! They were ripping clothes off hangers, trying things on, going through the jewelry boxes, they even had a local jeweler here, doing appraisals on site! They set up tables in the front lawn, and sold everything out front. The ladies were buying things up for themselves and everything else went into the garage & the lawn. When the last of the customers left, they boxed up the stuff and took it to the church basement. The offical from the bank said the same thing, that they wanted the highest bid possible for the house, because the money was going to the church. It's amazing how people act when they have something to gain from someone else.

The only thing they didnt take was a brick of cheese that was dated from June 04 in a bottom tray in the fridge and the 6 boxes of baking soda in the fridge and freezer! (perhaps REMOVING the cheese would have been better than adding the baking soda!)

this could be very true..

When I was living in the Bay Area, this old Bookie died, the guy lived in a dump of a motel, drove old dam car, dressed like a bum, always needed a shave, and drank one hell of a lot of Bud. had 250 K in the trunk of his car, and safe depoist box's all over the place something like 10 of'm. His brother got all of it.

reynold 04-28-2005 07:22 PM

he must be a wealthy man despite that :)

So..where are you now? You surfing GFY on an army connection? OR just in your basement? :1orglaugh

The fact that Bin Laden still walks around doesnt mean you should forget about all the other things, like every day life?

studio 04-29-2005 06:43 AM

I never seen a junk man without a fat roll of 100 dollar bills in his pocket... It's a cash business and what they sell, they get for free most of the time...

squizzel 04-29-2005 09:37 AM

Maybe hes got a few gold bars stuffed in the loft :thumbsup

squizzel 04-29-2005 09:44 AM

it all depends on the quality of the site. If the site is good and the $30 a month is justified go for that, if not a slightly less ammount of money should be charged. Its all about pricing it so supply and demand meet at equalibreum (sp - im dumb)
