I went to amsterdam last august for a week. Stayed at the golden tulip near museumplein. It's a fucking riot. A little something for everybody. bud, hookers, sex clubs, regular clubs, coffee shops, cafe's, a million resturaunts, etc. Definitely a great time.

Seriously though, I spent 7 hours or so from detriot to schipol airport and the only bad part was the hangover from all the freeze booze, and arriving at 645 in the morning (their time). But it's nice to be able to grap cappuccino and beer right after you stumble off of the plane.
