On the Dell Business Site they were 799 but on Dell Home site they were 486 or so. I called the small bus rep and they honored the 486 price.

so it was 486 / monitor

MichaelP 04-27-2005 07:14 PM

Wow I'm suprised they did that. But why order from small business? As far as I know they only difference is most people don't have to pay tax when buying from the home department.

Juicy D. Links 04-27-2005 07:17 PM

Same one more $$$ on Dell Biz site
http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...tegory_id=4009

Did you install a new video card for the second monitor or are you using the original one for both? If you installed a second one, you've actually got the capability to set up 4 monitors already. If you're using the same video card for both monitors, you just need to go down to Comp USA, Staples, etc. and pick up a second video card.

I'm trying to remember the terminology for why your right-hand one isn't as sharp. I have the same problem and my tech explained why but that was months ago. I'm sure someone here can explain it.

pxxx 04-27-2005 07:27 PM

That is just ultra sexy.
