Warning page and 2257 page question

Hi there :)

We're about to launch our first paysite. It will be submitted to CCBill for review tomorrow, just wanted to make sure our warning page and 2257 page is up to par with regulations.

Warning Page

2257 page

Being from Sweden and hosting in Europe I don't know if we need a 2257 page, but better safe than sorry.

Thank you very much for your help :)

LOL Nothing else then? :winkwink:

Warningpages.com looks pretty interesting though. Will hit you up now. ICQ is 246797915.

Anyone else with some advice on the actual pages?

On your 2257 Red Room Media is not compliant. It needs a custodian of records name, and a company name does not work.

Your warning page looks fine.

Thank you for your reply :)

Will get the name of the custodian then. Funny, in the Red Room license under 2257 it's only the company name that's listed.

Lycka till Anna :) Sajten och materialet ser grymt bra ut. Om du behöver hjälp på något sätt, hojta till på icq.

Tackar :) Det är vår första paysite så det är lite nervöst ;)

Not uncommon to find a non compliant US content producer.

Sad but true.

Compliant US Providers are actually less common than compliant ones.

After Shock Media 04-27-2005 05:08 PM

When this does happen I am often super gun shy about even trusting that provider to be keeping proper records. If they can not understand such a clear cut easy to read law as the 2257 requirements, then seriously how can you trust them to follow such other simple things as keeping ID's?

Though you are not in the US and do not need to be compliant. I see you are wanting to be which is good for the webmasters in the US that want to promote you. :thumbsup

you are going to leave that free link to google up once AC is offering you $ for it?
do you have a hidden deal with google? i want 1 =]

I'm sure there's just a small misunderstanding. In the paragraph above the owners name is listed, it might just be me not understanding the whole license. Red Room Media is a great company that has been around for a while.

Yes, hopefully lots of US webmasters will promote our site once it's ready :) Just filled out the CCBill application, took a while to complete...

Nah, we talked on ICQ. Will change the warningpage :)

Anna_O 04-27-2005 05:44 PM

Now it should be compliant.

Thanks and good night everybody :)
