Domains listed in Yahoo Directory

I see some expiring domains that are listed in Yahoo directory. Should I pick them up and how much they are worth. I should say that these domain names are not premium.

How would we now what they are worth if you provide no information? In that case:

$1,000,000.00

They are worthless.

it will cost me around $100 each to get them. What is the volume of traffic they are getting from yahoo dir? Any expierences?

hey egod.... did you try checking their alexa ranking to see if they have any thing significant....in alexa it will also show you what sites link into and what percentage it gives...so you can see yahoo directory and see what percentage of traffic is actually coming from the yahoo dir...

let me know if that works out...thats the only thing i can think of doing...

if they get any traffic of the yahoo dir heavily depends in which category they are listed in
might be good
might be ok
might be zero traffic
I know people who fall under all those 3 examples.

you gotto know the cat to tell if there will be traffic

Very true, I paid for one of my mainstream sites into yahoo directory, which I thought would have sent a nice flow of traffic, I was lucky if it sent me 5 hits a day lol!!
