Looking to hire someone for contract work.
 

Hi Gang

I'm looking to hire someone for contract work and I would be using this person for scipt installs, transferring of html files, SSI includes and a pile of other things. This position is going to be part time for now and work into full time over the next few months.

I pay $35.00 an hour for the right person. But in order to make this amount you need to be fast and very good at what you do. If this person meets all my requirements and proves to be a valuable asset I will either increase the hourly rate and/or include profit sharring once a full time position opens.

No Outsourcing companies need apply. I'm looking for an individual that works very hard under limited supervision. You must be able to speak good english!

If I was a better coder, I would apply. Can you give more details on programming knowledge needed?

I don't get it - script and whatnot installs on a part-time basis for so long, but to then go full-time? Is this for some hosting company?
I'm very competent at all *nix installs (free BSD, ReHat preferred) but full-time installation? You'd have to be one major hosting company requiring someone for full-time installation employment.

Anyway, I can't do this full-time as I have other commitments, but efficient part-time may suffice - drop me a line on icq to discuss if you want. More preferred than email discussion.

How about less $$ for hour for someone who doesn't know SSI but is willing to learn?

there isnt much to SSI, you can probably learn it all in one day

Can you guarantee a minimum amount of hours untill the position goes full-time?

Hey Borked...No I'm not a hosting company but I have a bunch of servers spread around. The job will be part time working into full time and with the other comittments you have you won't be able to handle the work load. Thx for showing interest in the position.

Hi Pussyluver ....What I'm looking for is someone who knows how to install scripts such as Comus, AGP, UCJ, Links SQL, PHPads and a few others. Some familiarity with Perl,CGI AND PHP are an asset.

This person will also be able to do:
General server management
SQL databases
Clean HTML coding skills.

General management duties of websites ranging from TGP's, MGP's, Linklists, freesites, galleries etc. Pretty much what ever I throw at you.

I'm looking for a well rounded person with solid skills to assit in alot of different areas as the business continues to grow.

Mortenb... It will be 10 to 15 hours a week for the first 4 weeks then growing to 20 to 25 hours for the next month, then full time.
