I wouldn't count on Norton if I were you ...

When Sir Cam first hit ... I paid for additional updates for all of the so-called Sir Cam Norton protection ... including daily, up-to-the minute updates ...

A week later my system was completely wiped out ...

Norton subsequently posted an disclaimer on their site ... saying they couldn't keep up with various mutations of the virus ...

When I called, they were completely rude and indifferent about it ... That is, when I could finally get someone on the phone ...

I will NEVER, EVER use Norton again ... They are completely worthless, in my opinion ...

That's old enough, the virus was translated into several languages (around 15) when it first popped...

I use Norton and Zonealarm, and never got infected, zonealarm renames every potentially dangerous attachment to .zl6 and then Norton takes care of wiping it and substituting the attachment for a .txt file, handy enough http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/smile.gif

The virus has had that variant from the very beginning. I used to get tons of both the english and spanish versions.
