Thats what a lot of affiliates push I imagine. I do know for the past 2 years the reps have really been putting the focus on the pay sites and away from the 4free sites.

Hmmm... Guess this means that the original clause in their affiliate agreement for the past few years, which stated that spam could not be used to promote wegcash sites, was just a suggestion. But now they are serious! Or is this just another suggestion, and we'll all be applauding them again in a few years when they restate it again. Confused? I am.

"No E-Mail Promotion Allowed" no exceptions. This was never in our TOS before.

Some mailers are / were deemed acceptable in the past. Today, the numbers do not make sense when it comes to accepting the liability / trust.

There just isn't as much money in it. Not worth the risk. Although we did not accept "spam," in many cases the mailers were deemed compliant.

Today we are saying no to any and all cases.

I don't think there's a problem with the law. I think there's a problem with people following it.

This business is about making money. Your account was terminated due to lack of integrity. You aren't sending us new members and we are not paying you for new members. We do not have a business relationship.

I have attempted in the past to work with you, however, you have chosen a path of consistent complaining on a webmaster board. My intuition tells me it is because we both know why.

No. We will continue those programs as they stand. It is not an issue of us mailing, but rather, others mailing us. A notable difference.

You my friend have a great point. It's also a question of integrity. All these sponsors saying that they don't allow spam yet everyone in the industry knows that they do. Some of these morons running these programs are more ruthless than their spamming affiliates and their hosting companies that let them get away with spamming. I can't wait to see more of these operations shut down by the gov. If these fucking idiots can't follow the law - they need to have their businesses and their banking accounts shut down :thumbsup

I'm not saying all sponsor programs are like this - there are a handful of honest people who run good programs - but they are few and far between.

I'm not sending new members because my account isn't active lol. I was canceled for bullshit reasons. However, I know I agreed to the TOS and part of it was, you have the right to can me at any time at your discretion. I just think it's total bullshit that I was canceled WITHOUT PAY. That's just wrong and I still feel was very dishonest.

it's the above ground traceable u.s. companies, without the bullshit international structure and management, findable aboveboard remove enforcing actively following the laws that are all stopping mail traffic.

the one's who followed it can't make money so the one's who do not will continue to spam the fuck out of everyone and subvert regulation, whether self-imposed or external.

it is naive to think that the problem does not stem from the same naivite that is fueling constituants to pressure legislators.

Wegcash has always said "no" to spam. Recently, they have also said "no", to any kind of email promotion.

AOL , YAHOO and the other fuckers are the biggest spammers. Its true...

i used weg about half a year ago and i was making good money, let me be the first to say "Maragret" that whore whose in charge of tos for wegcash has no idea wtf she's doing. She said there was a double email address that opt'd twice to signup for the program i was promoting (fuckcams), and i told her how i am suppose to be in charge of this, if they record by ip addy why the fuck dont they not let the person signup twice then? Good question huh? yea she ignored me and i lost 2k...i know a couple reps that work for wegcash and they even told me str8 up shes a bitch..i wouldnt be amazed if she got fired. In my 6 yrs in the adult business, never met anyone rude as her.

A very good choice. Spamming hurts the webmasters using a program just as much as it hurts the programs, and nobody gets any money by giving work to the abuse@ departments.
