Who will be the first GFY'ers to REALLY get physical at a convention?
 

Most everyone is a keyboard warrior here, or on any messageboard for that matter.

But there will be a time that the usual GFY drama will be played out not on GFY, but on the floors of a convention. A real drama. With a real physical confrontation.

Your job is to guess who the participants will be. There is no shortage of candidates, or threats for that matter.

Maybe these guys who are writing each others names on swords and meat cleavers over the "webmasterknifefights.com" logo?

Or the "barely a webmaster" type will be the ones in fights.

I can't imagine a seasoned vet of this biz really duking it out.

If I had beef with someone I sure as hell wouldnt make threats on a board.
I wouldnt even make threats to the person via phone or what not. I would just scope him out at a convention, wait till hes alone, and then take care of business. No need for drama or wittnesses.

I think most of the ones who talk shit here and try to act like they are the "cool kids" in some high school clique that exists only in their head get out of breath typing about it, let alone actually doing it. But it would be fun to watch either way.

At the Lightspeed Roadshow in Vancouver, Phatzane promised to bring his boys and beat my head in. He said he would be there and kick my ass. Well, I showed up and there were plenty of witnesses to it. He never showed and quietly disappeared. He did PM me on www.vancouverporn.com and tell me he had my address given to him by several GFY members and to expect a visit.


It's been what, 3 months? Nobody has shown up at my house to kick my ass. My beater S2000 that I park outside hasn't even had it's top slashed, nor a tire cut.


A lot of people are allllllllllll talk.

I've run into violent people in this business. Some big names have let me know what's up in no uncertain terms on several occasions.

They don't generally post on GFY, and you don't really want to know them personally.

Keep in mind I used to have Luke Ford on my payroll ;)

Yeah some webmasters get fucked up and get tempted to do stupid things, seen it at several shows, good thing nothing really happened.

It would just show unprofessional behaviour.

I got tempted last Phoenix show, got my acts together on time though
