There's such a thing with anti-virus software as 'false positives'. A large segment of the anti-virus software out there has these. Just because one program picks up a certain 'virus' and another one doesn't, doesn't mean as much as you might think.

microsoft will release an antivirus software soon.
1 year ago they bought RAV, a very succesful antivirus program, for $6 mil.
I think they will revamp & modify it a bit , then release it to the masses like they did with Giant AntiSpyware.

yep this is correct that's way I use both of them.

and sometimes Norton will catch'm and AVG will miss them.

I used to use Norton for years, but I recently switched to a new free anti-virus app called Avast. It updates daily and seems to catch a lot, and protects e-mail, im's, nntp traffic, http traffic, and it supposedly works better than Norton according to many reviews. Seems good to me so far.
