Can I use .htaccess to kill a website?
 

I need to shut down 1 site on my box pretty much instantly, and is there anything I can put in my .htaccess file to do that ?

just deny from all

do you want to get rid of it completely or just make it not viewable?

Just make it not viewable.

Not remove it, just bounce everyone.

i think if you just add the line

deny from all

in your htaccess and that is it....it will close it up
