i have had it and make it for the wife when we make sushi on the weekend, but they are right...kind of takes the whole 'sushi' out of the whole process.

I have had some of the various vegetables that can be rolled up asparagus and tempura sweet potatoes being two of my favorites but it would just never beright without tuna, Yellowtail, and eel being served at the same time. :thumbsup

Yeah I like them.
You have them with egg or cucumber for example.
Every sushi house has some vegetarian sushis as well.

Technically not true...even in japan they have that egg one...tomago or whatever?

But with that being said...agreed...it kinda defeats the purpose...Its fucking delicious with raw fish...wh screw with it and make it a vegan POS?

Yeah. I only ask because I'm going to a Japanese restaurant tonight and I'm looking for new things to try.

california rolls are awesome, but i eat all types of sushi, its good stuff.
