"The ultimate road going car in the world" - Worlds fastest production car

		http://sportcompactcarweb.com/featur...yline_19_z.jpg
The Z-tune GTR. Only 20 will be made. 170k US price tag. 500 (claimed hp, im betting its a ton more) and 400 tq (again, claimed). Does the 400 meter (a hair under a quarter mile) in 10.06 seconds. But to quote Sport Compact Car, "It's no drag car". 782 lb-inch springs. With R compound tires this thing would be unstoppable :2 cents: More here at its official site... Now if only I had 170k lying around :( |

 What are you thinkin?
With 170k I could build you a half-dozen Mustangs that would outrun, outhandle that damn ugly Riceburner. And probably get about the same MPG... This car has no style.. no sexappeal. Ok.. it hauls ass and handles... but not 170k worth. NO WAY BIG B CECash.com |

Edit: And I'm laughing about the part where you claim mustangs could out-handle it. |

it is not the fastest production car made.
	This is. http://www.koenigsegg.com/graphics/s...ge_record2.jpg |

It is quarter mile wise. edit: Which is more important than having 388 km/h at your disposal (no one's dumb enough to do that on a public road) |

 Thats one ugly car.

so is it US "street legal"?

I appreciate all cars my man. Especially the ones that make your bunghole pucker as you grab 2nd or dive into a tight corner. And trust me, one ride in my VW or Mustang and you would not even be able to say the word "Nissan". and yes.. I said VW... and hey - I OWN a Nissan Truck and I love it so :321GFY on callin me a anti-Japanese car guy !! but 170k for the stats that the GTR offers is not realistic. Nor Sane. I could get a 350z used for 20k and install "Warp Drive" for 150k :2 cents: Big B CECash.com |

I guess you didnt read the stats from Nismo's website. No VW or mustang is going to outhandle a machine that uses parts found on Nismo's race cars. |

There's only 20 being made. It's exclusive. I doubt the ferrari enzo is worth the million dollars it's selling for now, and it's slower than the Z-tune. |

That wing is stock on the GTR. The only difference is the one on the Z-tune is dry carbon - Lighter weight. |

you ever hear of Global West Suspension Systems? Hotchkis Suspension Systems? you ever hear of a straight axle car pulling more than 1G on lateral skidpad? There are more aftermarket parts made for Mustangs than any other vehicle alive... and Im not saying they are the baddest thing on the planet... Im just saying buck for buck they cant be beat. I think the success and the fun of the skyline has been modding the car yourself, you buy it, tweak the shit out of it, and you get a modestly priced amazing machine. But paying $170K for someone to do it for you defeats the whole point of the car, its not a concept car, its not flashy, its not about looks, or brands with the skyline, its about performance, and I dont think $170K is justifiable for what its offering, not in that package. Im sure there are plenty of guys in Japan who have killer skyline's just laughing their asses off when someone pays that amount for the car and they beat them on the street with the same car for half the price.

All the mustangs I've ever seen at race tracks get passed by FWD cars in the corners. And the Mustang is still using suspension technology that was space aged.... for 1971. And why are you comparing my skills in the Z-tune to your skills in the mustang? I've never even driven a z-tune, let alone seen one in person. Put a proffesional driver in your mustang and a proffesional driver in the Z-tune. The Z-tune is modern Japanese technology at its finest. Mustangs, as I said above, were modern technology... 30 years ago. No ammount of aftermarket parts off the shelf in a Mustang are going to compare to racing parts in a gtr. Extra Spot Welding Hood Ridge Reinforcement on Front Strut Upper part CFRP Reinforcement at Center Tunnel etc. Damp Force Adjustable in 3 variations. Ride-Height Adjustable, SACHS Suspension basis, exclusive for Z-tune Spring Constant Upgraded Less Friction Hard Rubber Bushings Front: Mechanical L.S.D. Rear: Active L.S.D. * Final Gear Ratio: 3.545 ETC Control Unit (Exclusive for Z-tune) Your mustangs suspension pieces are starting to look a little weak. |

looks pretty sweet to me, and mustangs suck, drive a mile, walk the rest.

Hell, what about the guy that spent 3 million dollars on a prototype car that was built in the 50's? Or the guy who spends 500k for an original shelby cobra? It's about being exclusive and being able to say, "I have one". :2 cents: |

unimpressed. looks like nothing more then a grocery getter with a fucking wing.

If I had the money, I'd have a shelby cobra and it'd never leave my garage without an armed guard keeping people at least 30 feet away from it :thumbsup |

In 1989, the skyline GTR was released and set the production car lap record around the Nurburgring. Then, it was banned from most racing series because it wouldn't stop winning. That's one hell of a grocery getter... |

Bang for your buck in a straight line, Mustangs are pretty much the way to go. But claiming your mustang with some aftermarket suspension parts can beat a car that has a suspension exclusive to it, that was developed by the same guys who build the Nismo GT500 race cars is ludicrous. :2 cents: |

 It looks hot.
