Uhhh a roach is made once you've smoked a joint, it's the leftovers that you put out.

In the UK a 'roach' is the stuff you put at the end of a joint before you smoke it to keep it from getting soggy.

Just put it in a bowl when it gets that low. If it won't fit in the bowl itself, try the carb....that way you can smoke the entire thing :)

i use the side of my cig packs when smokin with rooks, tear off a lil piece roll it and makes a nice filter so it doesnt get all soggy. But if its just me and my girl, no filter needed. We dont slobber. :2 cents:

The best thing that doubles for a roach clip is a tweezers..hehe...Id just unroll all the roaches then roll a new joint...who cares if you slobber on it as long as you enjoy it!!

add a filter to it and use a hair pin clip it, it will make it easier to smoke and you will get ALL of the awesome THC residue. :o)

best thing that doubles for tweezers is a pack of matches.. you rip out the matches and theres a little hollow area behind the match heads . works as a filter and a roach clip

The inside tab of a cigarette pack (at least the way a Canadian pack is put together) makes the best filter. Any rolled up one inch by a quarter inch piece of light cardboard will suffice.

why would you need to filter weed? don't be a pussy. toke it up.

Cardboard filters don't filter anything out, they just make the joints easier to smoke... you don't have to worry about rez and you don't get left with roaches.

Real smokers dont need to put anything at the end of the joint to keep it from getting soggy. They know how to hit it and keep it dry. In America if you wet the end of the joint, you get skipped on rotation. Go buy a little glass pipe from your local smoke shop and smoke that shit. If you dont want to spend money, simply take some foil, role the foil round a ink pen. Slide the pen out and bend the foil about a quarter of an inch from the end, insert the goods, light it and enjoy. You can even make pipes out of apples and empty cans.

If you smoke a 2 gram joint of some seriously sticky hydro, you're going to get rez no matter what without a filter.

I've smoked blunts with no filter and more than two grams in it and have had no rez coming out. Rez is gonna happen when you smoke, It's when one get's it wet with their fucking soup coolers that the rez get's on your lips and becomes a problem. If you know how to smoke without getting it wet, you will be fine. Try it and see. I still prefer my little glass pipe anyway.

I realize not many people have good weed in the USA, that's unfortunate. If you think the only way you'll get rez on a big joint is by sewering it, you've never had some real sticky icky icky. You can keep the joints perfectly dry and the ends will still get rez on them if you're smoking certain types of bud. Come up to Canada some day and I'll show you what's what. :thumbsup

P.S. The main reason people use filters is so they don't waste any weed, smoking roaches is dirty.

Filters suck. Only think i like filters on is my cigs and thats up for debate depending on how drunk i am at the time-lol. Once the joint get's down to roach status i put that shit into my collection of roaches. On rainy days i either role all the roches into one or i'll unrole them and put them in my pipe.

In Canada we call that a "filter". I don't think the US has a term for it because their marijuana technology is not as advanced. :)
