Photoshop action help?
I have a special watermark that only works well if done in photoshop. It does not seem to work great if exported to a png. So... I thought I would create an action to do what I wanted to do.
I can get it to work on the first image after that it messes up. How do you edit an action? (The current action uses the verbage "previous and next document".) I want to make this a batch so it will add the psd to the image, save the image with its original name and do the NEXT image. Can anyone help? |
Use image ready..
Save your water mark as a high quality PNG, Next go in image ready and open ONE pic you want to water mark, make a new action to record what your doing then .. goto File -> Place .. Pick the picture you want and the position you want it on the images so say Bottom Right? Once thats done keep the action recording and save that image some where just for a temp file, Ok now its done recording the action click the little Icon in the action area for the menu and click Create Droplet, Save that droplet exe to the folders with all your images, Go to that folder in explorer and select all the images and drop them in to the new EXE you just made, So select the 100 so images and drag them to the new exe's icon and it will open image ready and do the action and water mark them all... tada! |
Thanks for the reply.
I can't use a png file as it does not do what I want. Any suggestions on how to edit the action I have working ? |

But if you want to use the same action on all the images remove the line Move to Next document goto File -> Batch
Pick the action from the list and you can either have it process a folder or all open images.. |
