Flash Cash hacked?

StatsRemote just showed me a sale on my FlashCash account. Problem is, I'm not even promoting them, so I logged in directly through StatsRemote - and ended up in the account of a Czech webmaster with quite a few sales... I had access to bank account data, etc., so there seems to be a serious problem. Better check your Flash Cash accounts. Also, when I contacted them about it through their contact form the "From" field on the form page showed [email protected] as sender address. Doesn't look good...

Manowar 04-24-2005 01:48 PM

:Oh crap :Oh crap

fuzebox 04-24-2005 01:48 PM

When I login I get the same Czech webmaster's account...

maxxxxx 04-24-2005 01:54 PM

Pavel...?

Michael O 04-24-2005 01:56 PM

I get my own account when I log in.

NaughtyRob 04-24-2005 02:05 PM

Seems fixed already. Back at 0 sales in my account :(

emthree 04-24-2005 03:08 PM

Webmaster info leaked? :(

blackmonsters 04-24-2005 03:37 PM

I don't think anyone should login to flashcash until the problem is fixed because if the site is hacked then maybe the hacker can collect your login info. Your passwords are encrypted and of no use to the hacker unless he can get you to type in the unencrypted password.

if he hacked the server.. then im sure he doesnt care about your affiliate passwords, he would already have access to everything.

Im not sure you get his point. if they get your flashcash password , maybe its also your flashcash epassporte account password .. ( i.e. now you have lost 2 accounts instead of one )

xclusive 04-24-2005 04:20 PM

ouch i hope they are working on it

KMR Stitch 04-24-2005 05:55 PM

Thats not good.

JasonRhino 04-24-2005 06:37 PM

FLASHCA$H was NOT hacked.

One webmaster's stats were displayed, unfortunately, when caching was turned on unintentionally. This error was fixed within 15 minutes.

To the webmaster whose stats were displayed: my sincere apologies.

And to explain this - "Also, when I contacted them about it through their contact form the "From" field on the form page showed [email protected] as sender address. "

I hope you have contacted the webmaster whose bank account details were exposed to many. He may want to contact his bank.

Simple. It is a webmaster's e-mail address. As an example my e-mail address is [email protected] for GFY. It is [email protected] for Mr Skin Cash. I can isolate spammers by affiliate program by doing my e-mail addresses this way.

You are looking to stir shit, where shit does not exist.

Wasn't looking to stir shit in the slightest. I just wanted to make sure it was fully investigated and that the poor sod who had his personal details for all and sultry was contacted. As it sounds, you simply offered your apologies on a board which he maybe doesn't read.

To be humble to superiors is duty, to equals courtesy, to inferiors nobleness.

Umm i think he asked a very valid question that i would want to know before allowing my personal information on a system that may compromise it .

threads like these damage programs when nothing even happened. why dont people email admins b4 posting threads like this? my affiliates contact me before hitting the boards and everything always gets worked out.

Something did happen. Someones full account details were disclosed to every russian under the sun. Fairly serious issue. No they werent hacked , but thats why he had a question mark.

If he had contacted support , the problem would have been fixed in a few hours ,and nobody would have known the wiser. Thanks to gfy we get to know the details ( and very important details at that )

This thread allowed me as an affilaite to ASAP go into my stats and erase all my personal information so it wasn't stolen..

if i was an affiliate and my bank account details and everything were sent out for everyone to see, i would want to know as fast as possible.

If i thought they might be hacked , its prob not a great idea to email them ( as the email wouldn't go through and may lead to you being hacked ) its prob better to go to a neutral place like gfy and get some answers.

I'm not into damaging programs, but how would you feel if it were your details that were exposed, even if it was for a short while, and that you never even knew it since you were never contacted other than by a public apology on a board you never read.
