Comments about Webair Hosting?
 

Curious....what experiences have you had?

always top notch for me, love their live support.

I didn't have luck with them personally, gave them a month and they could not get my shit working, so I had to move somewhere else

As a company we have hosted hundreds of domains with them over the last 5+ years and can honestly say we have never had a problem with them.

The same is true for National Net who we have hosted with for almost 2 years now.

Both of those companies i mentioned above get an A++ in my book.

Down once (for about 1-1/2 hours in a year)

I have had some "help" issues but overall happy.

Some have good experiences with Webair while other have nightmares. Webair didn't back up a colleague's site for months. Mike from Webair admitted the drive was backed up with corrupt info. A day or 2 without a backup is understandable but 3-4 months is inexcusable.
If need be, I can post the complaining link as proof...

I had a big headache for many months with Webair concerning MySQL - I eventually changed hosts. Other than that, they were good.

nothing but good experiences with webair. we've been with them for years now. mike is super helpful!

exact same problems I had too...sites were down for 8+ hours every 2-3 days...they changed my sql server like 2-3 times....still troubles....finally gave up

they were great aside from two complaints i've had - over time their techs seemed to be slower setting up servers and often made mistakes ie: not setting up ftp or not giving the right amount of ram. but the problems were always fixed.

Webair rocks!!

I used em for a while but then that project kinda died out and I didn't keep the server. They were good though.

I heard the same thing from several people as well as other negarive issues, those comments were why i didn't go with them. :2 cents:

It seems like ya either love em or hate em type of situation.

webair has been great to me from day one, i have 2 dedicated boxes with them and i've had a total of 20 minutes downtime in a year and a half. talk to mike directly and he will take care of you :thumbsup

I can vouch for webair.
A great company. One time I tried another host but I was back with webair asap.
I sleep safe at night because my alerts tell me my server is up 24 hours a day.
I can not remember the last time it was down.

I've been with them around a year. They've been very good to me. :)

99.5%+ uptime in two years I have been with them. Webair lets me sleep easy at night knowing my servers are well taken care of.

These fucking threads piss me off. WHy? Beacuse I've been looking for a good fast, host for a while, and there are always reflecting opinions of Webair on here, enough for me NOT to go withthem. People saying they have had troubles and others saying they are great. What about reflected or unmetredservers.com, anything bad or good about them????

I've dealt with them many, many times for both myself and customers of mine. I have nothing but love for Webair.

My experience with Webair so far.

Only issue i had was i blew up a HD once. I called them and they were already on it replacing it. Support is great , ICQ, Live Chat or 800 number.

Initial transfer to em nothing but helpful especially Sagi.... We had to migrate over alot of shit and scripts , and SSL certs.... Spent few hours with me till the migration was seamless. I am very satisfied with them .

no host is perfect.

i have a couple dedicated boxes with them, and sort of tricky configs, been with them 2+ years.

some hardware problems the first year that could not be diagnosed, but sagi did get one of the boxes rebuilt with all new, and since then has been great.

good price, and extremely good connectivity to europe.

i HOPE they are backing my stuff up weekly, but have not had a failure yet to verify it.

best host i've had since 1996.

They had a couple small cpanel sql issues when they set up my dedicated box, but live support had it fixed up within a couple hours. Been with them for about a year now without any downtime that i'm aware of. They do a great job to take care of ya(atleast in my experiences so far).

i have all of my servers with them... always accessible, always up, and their techs will do free gay cybersex with you if you're lonely

I had a virtual account and their service was very prompt but a screw up never got fixed (or addressed reasonably) so I left. If you get a dedicated I'm sure they kiss you ass (as they should along with any other host offering managed solutions) but if you have a virtual account I don't think the quality of service is the same.

This is all speculation though and I don't want to paint a negative picture about the company and would also be interested in hearing more stories of successes or failures and whether or not you had a virtual or dedicated account.
