dont get me wrong i LOVED NY, i stayed at the NYU when i was down, it is def on my list for a place to live for a month if i do not decide to go to Vancouver or Montreal. point being that if i get bored i do not like it i can just pack up and go home without a giant move. i am travelling lots this summer, we will see if i make it back, i am waiting for my buddy to move down so i can have an extended stay. :winkwink: |
bump i guess as usual GFY webmasters live in boxes since they havent made money since 1997. :(

The place to look for that info is here. |
is it just for a one month term?
i would guess 1500 - 1800+ for Van city, in the new high rise areas. |

yes for 1 month, i need a break from calgary, i figure i am mobile so why not choose a city close enough where i can easily return. that isnt a bad price at all, i have been looking over the net, some really nice apartments. |
I live just outside Montreal (about 20 minute drive)
There are brand new just built townhouse condos i our town that are renting for $800-$850 CAD ... but finding a one month lease will be next to impossible ... |
im sure there are some of those corporate condos available for short term rentals. fully furnished, hi-speed, granite countertops etc ;)

as long as i am downtown, i want to be in the middle of the action, i am a person who needs to be occupied. |

But Vancouver and Montreal are very open minded liberal cities, I don't think you would like them very much. You might want to reconsider your choice of cities to visit. |

whatever, i am actually moving somewhere not making jokes over the internet, if you are a person who has trouble finding the line between real life and internet i cant do anything for you. |

A 2 bedroom appartment in downtown Montreal would run ya about $800-$1000 depending on the amenities of the building.
I don't know how easy it would be to get a place downtown for only a month, though. |

By the way, please show me where I said I would not give you the information you're looking for. Just because I haven't posted any information, doesn't mean that I wouldn't. Seriously, go back, read my posts in this thread, then read your reactions. |
