Blogger and Trackbacks - question

okay, I know Blogger will let me trackback to you, although it inserts the "nofollow" tag. My question is this, can you do trackbacks to others?

If so, how do you do it? I looked at someone else's Blogger write page, and I don't see anywhere to insert a trackback URL

Thank you in advance

What is the deal with trackbacks again? I can never remember.

I can make a comment on my blog, that will show up as a comment on your blog. It is the ultimate link swap.

Well, I might be inclined to, but I posted a comment to your most recent entry and see that you have the "nofollow" tag in place, so there is no advantage in my doing so.

The nofollow tag prevents spiders from following the link back to my blog, so that pretty much defeats the purpose, and hardly makes for an ultimate link swap.

Would be totally one way.

You can trackback to me, and spiders will follow back to you, but it won't happen from you to me.

It absolutely sucks that wordpress 1.5 comes with the "NOFOLLOW" Tag enabled by default.

I found 1 plugin that will remove the "nofollow" tag from comments.

For those interested, you can download from:

http://www.pleasurefirst.com/dls/follow.zip

Just unzip, put in your WP plugin folder and activate within the WP admin

I posted a comment on your blog Baddog, guess it's waiting for approval and now comments on my blog will be followed :thumbsup
