What's The Best Video Game Console (PS2, Xbox, Etc)?
Yes, I know it's a vague question. Kind like asking, "what's the best affiliate program". But overall (graphics, games available, etc) what's the best thing on the market these days?
Any of them offer a collection of the old school atari and namco games like asteroids, space invaders, galaga, pac man, frogger, ms pacman, etc? |
Considering the consoles with the old games is probably cheaper than 1 game on a PS2/Xbox, you should just get the atari :winkwink:

for the pacman games and and all the stuff like that its just one game boy advance....but for the better graphic...and game for someone of 15 years older...its xbox...my girl friend work with this stuff...so...and for ps2 you have a lot of game that you can play....so choose :thumbsup ...we,ve got a ps2...but xbox is better

Price oo the console and the games really isn't an issue, just looking for the best overall set-up. |
If you want old school games, get an emulator of your choice and play it on your computer. They've got emulators for almost every console ever made, even arcade games.

ps2 = a lot of games
xbox = more quality |

There are collections of genuine of school games available for the xbox now (mainly namco and atari I think), probably for the PS2 as well.
As has been said - PS2 more games, xbox better graphics etc if the game decides to use the extra power. But.....xbox has xbox live which means it blows the PS2 out of the water. Oh and yes - I own both unlike many people who spout about how great something is without trying the competition. |
I am partial to the PS2 but I don't play often.
|
Xbox is the most advanced in processor and video graphics thus delivering higher quality games. PS2 has the largest choice in games but is the oldest console. GameCube is just plain old fun... no high quality difficult shit just plain old fun.

I think it is the PS2. I had a xbox for a while and then sold it. Didn't like the control setup how it was used in games. I've had PS2 since the release date and have had no problems at all. I'll be there in line to buy the PS3 on release day also.
