What registrar you use and why?
 

Question for all domain folks:

What registrar you use and why? I am paying 7.99/year per domain. Anyone knows about some cheaper adult friendly domain registrar? Do they have some control panel?

WHy? It's not a reseller, second they have good support(and also office hours during my timezone) They are pretty cheap 10.34 euro per domain. And it the interface is great. Easy to lock domains, see a statuf of a domain etc.

Besides that, they have an option for auto renew. Which means, if my domain is expired, and I don't press delete, it will be auto renewed. So when I'm on holliday, and I forgot some domains, I don't lose them.

Of course you can set to status delete after the domain is registred as well. Also the email on new a new domain status etc

Their support is top notch. I've never had a problem with them. I called there a few times and Andrew has always been very helpful. With everyone that's "cheap" you get what you pay. Like the idiot that posted about GoDaddy. Go look up how many people have been FUCKED by godaddy.

Actually I take that back. Continue using your shitty little wreckless registrars this industry could be thinned out a little bit. hopefully your domains will drop and you'll quit to go back to work at Wendy's.

directnic, good support and they wont go nuts if someone spoofed your domain sending spam like GD

I use Network Solutions for my important stuff. Why? The $35/year is a ripoff but after the whole Sex.com fiasco, I'm rather confident they won't release domains without checking the identity of the request.

and, ordering domains is very simple, just a few clicks and no need to enter any info in

Used NamesAreCheap from the 1st day I ever started buying in on domains and never had a problem. They charge a little more per domain but we happy wiv em. :thumbsup

i use joker, mainly because they're not godaddy. i have a strong dislike for godaddy.

Control panel is great
Enom is right down the street from me and my sis-in-law is their HR person so any problems I always get great support
