I was kinda lost at first until I read the title of that page, rather sad if you ask me.
|
That is really freaky. Sick even.
So I suppose people do that because their pet, after all, is part of the family. Then, why not do the same with their actual family members once they pass on? |
they are positioned like that?????? :eek7
|
They turned their dead pets in to statues :Oh crap

i could be wrong the guy says he does one a day the process (if you know anything of freeze drying takes way longer than that. Its a very delicate process, infection, mold, and many things come to play. You dont just toss an animal in the frezer and its done. Sound fake, i dont care to lok further, just looks way to unprofessional for SUCH AN EXPENSIVE hobby. way expensive and time consuming., this guy makes it sound like cooking a pizza. http://www.newsday.com/entertainment...6620352.column Quote:
http://www.cr.nps.gov/museum/publica...er/prim42.html Freeze-drying which is used to dry animal specimens, does so at very low internal chamber temperatures, lower than is used for most food processes. One animal specimen may take several weeks to dry. At this slow rate of drying the costs are high. Most paper and book material can withstand higher temperatures than those used to dry delicate animal specimens and there is a need for thermal energy to make the process efficient and cost effective. anyhow, may be real, just doesnt seem like it... |
I'm actually going to have my pet cremated and put into a small urn...seriously.
I have had him going on 12 years now and can't see myself just burying him in the back yard of a home I'm only renting...or in a field somewhere etc. He deserves so much more for being a great companion for so long. |
