I've had a noticable difference also.


The number of uniques relative to my overall traffic has fallen off a cliff.

With the server problems getting worse instead of better, it wont be too surprising if you see a dip or two.

I've cut back traffic to it, but even with that I haven't had a free sale in about a week. I was avg'ing one every 80 hits (now I send 60-70 hits a day, really scaled back). The amazingly slow stats page isn't too fun either now

slow ass servers have been around since the days of the cave man and we're not living in those days anymore.

people should learn to deal with their popularity and make it run FAST like yahoo or google or something. if it runs slow, it reduces the chances of someone joining by a lot of %%%.

It wouldn't be so bad if we were talking a couple weeks.. with all the new geo stuff they introduced, you could understand problems (understand, not excuse their failure to plan ahead).. but we are talking several months here.. it just makes no sense, and they aren't talking about it.

Of course with nearly every other dating site out there sucking ass, it isn't like you have a lot of choices. And no don't reply telling me about datinggold/iwantu/adultactioncash/sexsearch, been there, done that, prefer slow ass servers at AFF to them.

front page should have its own dedicated server(s). that way at least the users can hit the site fast instead of closing out before it even loads.

ever tried to visit AFF on 56k? its shite!

They have some non flash front pages you can send to.. like http://cover1.adultfriendfinder.com/ and http://cover2.adultfriendfinder.com/
There are several others to chose from.

i always prefer to use the default but has anyone tried the other covers? do they work better? do they load faster?
