Trillian - AIM / ICQ
 

Anyone been having or having issues with AIM and/or ICQ in Trillian Pro 3.1?

Yup. Everyone I add gets orphaned. It's a pain in the ass.

The damn thing won't even let me connect.

When I used it I had issues - it deleted my ICQ contact list after a few restrats - so i had to switch to just ICQ :/

Trillian is unreliable.. had problems with ICQ over weak wireless... also know friends who never get any MSN messages when using Trilian..

why dont you change to miranda?

If you are only having problems connecting to ICQ there is a patch Avail to correct this. 3.1 Pro Build 121 is what i had to upgrade to, to get it to work right. Just goto Help: check for upgrade.

i can use trillian with AIM and MSN. no ICQ anymore

It was acting up earlier, but now working fine.

go to MY COMPUTER-CONTROL PANEL-ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS

problem solved :)

i stopped using icq months ago lol most unstable piece of shit messenger out there.

Trilian Pro works fine with me, I've been using it for a year already.
I've been hearing bad experiences using ICQ.
