Redirects - Frames - 1x1imgs - Hitbots
I am using topsite scripts and i wonder how can i figure out whether i will be cheated or not.
Many other scripts are using redirects or frames to be able to track outgoings... is there a way figure out what hits have been redirects or frames (iframes)... maybe with a script or in the server logs... the same for img tags... how can i find out... does anyone know how to catch hitbots or proxy hits in general... is it smart to filter proxies ... i mean, do i harm the honest traders? thanks. |
hehe, the thieves can no longer steal dollars so now they're stealing traffic.

check the referrers of your top trades (where the hits are coming from - should see it in your httpd logs)
and then goto the site and look how they are sending traffic to your site.. and if there's any 'funny' business going on. ------------------ ADULTBOUNCER AVS! * FREE Unlimited Hosting (ANY SIZE VIDEOS ALLOWED!) * Free Premium Unique Video Content * Partner Programs to resell your AVS site * Recurring By-Monthly Payouts * Multiple Billers GET STARTED NOW! |
"check the referrers of your top trades (where the hits are coming from - should see it in your httpd logs)
and then goto the site and look how they are sending traffic to your site.. and if there's any 'funny' business going on" most site use something like "out.cgi?id=MYUSR", "out.php?id=MYUSR" ... whatever, it is just taken my back to my site, so i can assume these are not fake hits? it is hard to tell, isn't it ... and a lot of work especially as most of us have 100's of sites.... |
