sweetME 04-20-2005 03:17 PM

Try "COSTCO".

Decadawn 04-20-2005 03:24 PM

Don't buy a PLasma.. it loses brightness during the years

flashfire 04-20-2005 03:34 PM

costco has some good deals? any others??

Doctor Dre 04-20-2005 03:39 PM

costco has only crap tvs ... and you should go with DLP technology ... way easier to change when they break, and awesome resolution

DLP is all front or rear projection though. If you want a thin TV to hang on the wall or whatever, you have to go LCD or plasma.

Try FutureShop or Best Buy. You won't find any place cheaper than that for a quality plasma TV.

If you want to go even cheaper, then visit MDG computers. You are getting a cheap brand name there, but they are the cheapest plasmas you will find, dollar wise.

Those are some cheap ass TVs. The models they usually carry are BenQ.

I actually like Benq, I had a projector from them and it was great

Just type in a specific model into www.pricegrabber.com and you'll get lots of inexpensive options.

He's actually correct. All displays that use phosphors lose brightness over time.

I was told that it also 'burns' in, that lcd is better.

But I have no clue. Plasma looks so good.

Costco in Washington State has a 42 inch for under 2200 USD.

TehKinkyHotness 04-21-2005 07:09 AM

yeppers get an lcd or even an lcd rear projection. Lcd projection is not as thick as a traditional projection but you sure cant hang it on the wall either!
