don't use AUTO never EVER, use only manual settings, most important is to manual white ballance, if you could give me more info maybe... are you gonna shoot indoor with lightning? What type? Outdoors?

Lighting Lighting Lighting.

You can use Auto for focus, but other then that I am with EROTEEK. Never use the Auto white balance setting on your camera. Set it yourself and preview the images.

Light the background also, it gives depth and keeps your model from looking flat (not flat chested, but with no dimention). You can do all that with some photo floods, that wont cost you very much at all.

Lighting is key. Always make sure you have the best possible conditions (depending on where you shoot). Midday sun is key in some of the circumstances.

Get yourself some of those construction lights from your local Menards or whatever. They are 1000+ watts, and usually come with a couple of settings.

Make sure you have a digital camera. Camcorders are nice, and all, but you need a good camera for the HQ stills. So make sure you are using a good camera. Vidcaps even under best conditions still blow because models move a lot.

Lighting's the biggest thing in shooting content. Makes an enourmous difference in pic quality. Always better to have too much, vs too little. Otherwise you had better be the master of Photoshop/Premiere because you will spend a lot of time cleaning shit up.
