TGP's stealing traffic? Blacklisted!
 

Would you consider this stealing traffic?

You submit to a TGP for a long long time but it never lists your gallery. And your galleries are ultra-clean, maybe you get a listing at Hun's, Richard's, AL4a etc. but certain TGP's wont either list you or let you know what's wrong or delete their damn submission page.

Why could this be stealing?
A) He steals from you, because you might have another TGP to submit to and also your wasting your time submitting
B) He steals from ANOTHER TGP! Now, let's say 2 TGP's send you traffic and a third one is a free rider so the 3rd gets some traffic from his recip while the 2 other TGPS wont receive anything from him.

Ok this is nothing, you say. Who cares about one recip?!
Well, it's not that easy, you see, this "stealing" TGP could be one of the well-known and/or formerly popular TGP's and he could be doing the same to hundreds of webmasters. Getting that 10-50 recip hits per gallery adds up nicely when he steals from hundreds of galleries, and those recip hits go to a front page full of ads. This means several signups a day.

Same goes for link lists. Some link lists add you the next day while some others let you wait for a month or forever. Now they're stealing both from you and the other link list.

I consider this BAD BUSINESS BEHAVIOR and I have my own BLACKLIST.
I suggest all posters spend just a little time for investigating who never lists you, then blacklist him, and replace it with another TGP.

You know, if the earnings from ALL gallery pages were compared with earnings of ALL tgp main pages -> galleries fucking rule!!!

It's not stealing.
Don't submit there.

Oh, on a side note... what would you do with your galleries if there wasn't linklists and TGPs? Don't brag... it's a symbiosis.

i have submitted to TGP's 1,000's of times with good galleries and recips in the past and never got listed, so dont take it personally http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/smile.gif

i know what you mean though some tgp's shound not have a submit page at all.

Accept it, and don't forget still some webmasters will really review your gallery and list it

i doubt, unless we have some 1000+ tgps that get several signups from recips only

I don't think there's that much thought put into it..."stealing" from submitted galleries that is. I could be wrong...but that's rare.

Besides, if the tgp continually won't list you, quit submitting. Problem solved.

Let's share our tpg blacklist. Some tgps have blacklisted my domain for whatever reason, like the submitted url is too long, or didn't capitalize the first letter of each word. Which isn't cheating, it is just not following rules, it is just not following THEIR particular rule. So now I am lumped in with gallery redirectors, beastiality and cp posters.

Yeah...I've been banned from a few myself. At least I think...they won't list my galleries suddenly. Who knows why but I say(always followed their rules), who gives a shit. If they don't like my work to help them get bookmarkers everyday, then I'll just submit to someone else...
