i'm thinking about buying Liquid 6. Can you elaborate a bit on how it's better than Final Cut Pro of Final Cut Express.

I used to pinnacle studio with a mixed resultes, I would like to step in power while staying in a familiar work environment. but we are also considering Final Cut Pro express.

any input would be appreciated. thanks

I like the interface better personally... and alot of movies are now going PC rather than MC it's been mac for years... I guess you break it down to ford or chevy... me personally I like BMW so I use liquid.... you can do pretty much same stuff with it as FC but I like PC better myself... and for streaming like gameshows and such liquid takes the round.... as far as DVD's liquid takes the round... although I don't have to much experienec with FC but it's like any other editing program just gotta play with it and you will get great results.... personally I like Liquid... you can play with stuff

thanks for the info, very helpful :thumbsup

nice color change work that video, real smooth.

I will probably load up a customized Dell with 4 gigs of ram, a terrabyte hard drive and all the state of the art stuff on it and stay with PC. We shoot our own content - video and photos - and edit it all ourselves. DVDs are right around the corner, so we need a program ready for that.

it looks like i will go with Liquid 6 over Final Cut Express. No Mac learning curve and no need to buy programs like photshop, and microsoft office all over again just to switch to mac. the dell i will customize will have the best video card on the market which will be able to push the Apple 30 inch cinema display. So i will get the comforts of PC home and the sheer power of that monster 30 inch Apple monitor. I think I will have the best of both worlds. And if I am dying for a mac later, i can get a mac g4 notebook and use it as training wheels for learning the world of mac.

thanks again for your input :thumbsup
