The "common sense" scale on gfy is unreal.
 

Let's see... from the past couple of days:

1) I have learned that if someone posts in 2 or more sponsor threads, that immediately PROVES that they are guilty of going to worthless blog journalists with incriminating news stories.

2) If an unrelated company in a foreign country does something illegal, and you "might" have dealings in that country, that immediately means that you're also doing something illegal and will be in trouble soon.

True, but as a human being with common sense, you'd still expect more. Good thing that some people never cease to surprise us though, we'd get bored to death working otherwise.

Common sense would dictate that thought was put forth before words typed. After a couple of years here, I've only noticed about 0.02% of posters actually show any inclining of common sense.

Very sad but true... they really need to come up with a common sense injection system or something to pound into some people.

I tend to be too busy to really dig deep into the board for such non-sense, they were the 2 most readily available examples that I saw this morning :winkwink:

While I do believe that a few of the people posting here really are idiots, I'd still argue that the lack of common sense and excess of idiocy here on GFY is mainly a result of "when in Rome do like the Romans". Meaning that, since GFY allows drama and utterly stupid posts to be made, most take advantage of this opportunity to show the less serious sides of themselves, without much risk for consequences. Sure, some might take this a bit too seriously and start looking for people at shows to literally piss on them, but then again no one can be 100% right in the head.
