Of all the Countries Ive been to thus far on this journey none have been as strange as this place.. Seems my sites and many sites are blocked and sensored by the government.. There is a wavier I had to sign to get access of internet to my laptop saying that I agree not to download or visit sites that go against that National requlations. Not sure what those regualtions are
the sheet was written all in oriential jibber jabber, and our tourguide advised me not to try to dibble around finding ways in.. That big brother watches shit.

I didnt realize so many sites are blocked.. More so you'd be supried on the sites that arent blocked, and where they redirect thier chineese traffic to!!

Damn, some of you paysite owners really like to fuck with the Chineese surfers! And some of you dirty TGP owners.. Haaaaa!! Fuckers.... Think I wouldnt ever come to China and see where you get your real traffic?

I have no idea why the hell they had the Olympics in Greece last year I mean what the hell???? Maybe the worst Olympics in recent history in Greece.

But the one here in China is gunna blow it away... Its going to be huge!

On a cool note, there have been riots in the street by Tianamen Square the past few days.. The Chineese are protesting something about Japan..

Its been getting pretty bad..

China is a huge growing market economy here. They are growing and growing. More than ever and perhaps faster than any country.. Its amazing.

If China wants to remain a freind in the Global Market place with Countries like the US, I think that and that alone will hold them back from any real action towards Taiwan..

The real people who need to watch there backs here when in China for the Olympics are the Japanese...

But here in China the law and order makes me feel much more comfortable.

ANd its CLEAN here.. Way cleaner than the places I was at last week and weeks before.

I was in Shanghai and HK a couple of weeks ago.
in HK there's no interent censorship at all....
its a great place, much more tourist friendly then the rest of china
in mainland you need a proxy to bipass your chinese isp filters

Shit man, this city is so big, and spread out unlike Kwaloon and HongKong.

I havent really explored yet other than today some, but everything is so spread out..

i dont know if u noticed by now, but two things: smog sucks ass there.. u cant even see the sun clearly. and the traffic will drive u crazy. Cabs are cheap and all, but 10 minutes just to reach the next block aint fun.

i like hongkong. most millionaires per sqft.

Yeah traffic, smog, and dust is bad here...

But we are going to the Great Wall tomorrow for a hike. Should be nice and cool for that I hope..
