I have three babies!!!
 

Well I don't know if any of you knew but I found a stray kitty a few months ago and it took me a while to get her to come up to me and let me love her. Well she was pregnant, or got pregnant in the time I was getting to know her and yesterday she wanted in my house, which she has never wanted to do before. She went into my closet where I had Turf Kitty's bed and had her babies. Missy here at work came over and we tape it. It was so cool. But I snapped these few pics, I left out the ones of her eating the yucky stuff haha. But it was the coolest thing ever. I have never seen anyone or thing give birth.

And that is quite the sight to see isn't it? It's truly amazing to see a mommy taking care of her babies. Cats are great :thumbsup

I have two babies. A mother dove and a father dove took up residence in my basket. They took turns sitting on the two eggs. After a month, I saw the two baby doves born, and in two weeks, they flew away. Quite an experience watching a birth.

Well when Mama Kitty was coming in the house she went after Ralph, the alpha cat of the house, who amazingly enough did not fight her. It was like he knew she was distressed or something. Plus you know how females can get when they have something to protect WATCH OUT :helpme
Well me being a dumb ass, and being too excited about Mama Kitty wanting in, I stuck my hand down there and my male cat took out what he wanted to do to her on me! hahaha They can be little asses sometimes but I love them for it.

I know I know. She was holding my hand and wanting me there, but I knew she needed time alone to be with the babies. I went in and held a plate of food for her to eat out of so she didn't have to get up from the babies. She is all alone now in the closet with a full belly and is resting up! I can't wait until they start to crawl and play. I am going to have so much fun with these babies!

LOL Shes like WTF????? Cant ya see im busy????? lol By the way... If she becomes tame enuff you might wanna think about getting her fixed.

actually, he could have been protecting her from you... it's entirely possible that the cat knew immediately that she was about to give birth and may have perceived you as a threat at the time. :winkwink:

I don't think any of them are. One is all black with a white mohawk and one is stripped like Mama Kitty and I am not sure what the other kitty will look like, but it's dark. I haven't really got that close to them yet. Wanted to give it a little bit before I start to exam them up close.

haha Sorry! The one that looks like Drac is sooo adorable. He/She has such dark little strips I just want to kiss him/her.
