Doesn't the FBI have some rule about phony reports?
I know someone whom we shall call "Hatfield" who got into a tif with a person who sold him junk merch off of eBay, whom we shall call "McCoy". Hatfield, bent on revenge, unwisely signed McCoy up for junkmail and spam everywhere under the sun, and even more unwisely did it from his work computer. (Hatfield is an employee of a large Federal contractor.)
McCoy now claims to have reported him as a terrorist to the FBI, in order to exact revenge for the revenge visited upon him. Moreover, McCoy was dumb enough to have all but admitted this in a taunting email to Hatfield. Both of these guys should grow up. But isn't actually filing a silly report with the FBI and admitting that it was done in the hopes of having the matter escalated to a serious charge something like filing a false police report? Will either of these guys ever give up? Will Mary-Sue admit her love for Rupert? Will the cow start giving milk? Will Lucius' barn be put out it in time? Stay tuned.... |
yeah i'm pretty sure its a federal offence, same with fake police reports, can be charged for those.
