The house that it is based on is about 20 min from me.

We actually checked it out years ago n shit. Its totally redone n shit .
I remember actually a cop pulled us over cause we were going up n down the street. Seems alot of people want to see the house n shit..

BTW i love how they rerelease these fucking old movies all the time and make more $$$

My Mother-in-law lives across the street. It's really annoying because her house looks just like the original, so kids are always parked outside at night looking, thinking it's the house. When the actual murders took place, my father-in-law was interviewed by police, as he was walking the dog at the time of the gun shots...Pretty creepy stuff. I'll try to get a photo of the house as it is today and post it in the thread...
