Press Release for 2pac fans

OUTLAWZ new album OUTLAW 4 LIFE: 2005 A.P will be in stores this coming Tuesday April 19th! Make sure you go support the Makaveli trained souljahs, and BUY the album from a retail store or order it online at TowerRecords.com!

After more then 3 years since their last group album, the Outlawz are back and better then ever before. The new album Outlaw 4 Life: 2005 A.P shows a lot of maturity and growth from previous songs/albums. The Outlawz, trained by the greatest rapper of all time, Tupac Shakur, prove that after years of learning from the great one, the lessons are paying off as they grew from boyz to men. The albums' intro song Real Talk, produced by Focus, couldn't have been a better opener. They say game recognizes game, but with this song it can be said that real recognize real. The albums first single Celebrate is more then just a party or club song. It's not about having fun, but more so celebrating life in general, even recognizing the many tragedies that still go on in many hoods and families around the world today. The album has a perfect blend of songs that seem universal and there should be songs for everyone no matter if you are on the East, West or the dirty South. Having been in the shadow of Tupac can be a hard thing to over-come, and the Outlawz never ran away from that fact.. In fact they seemed to have embraced that challenge by never forgetting their roots, and never letting the world know from their lyrics that them in Tupac had much in common then just affiliation, but also that both seem to focus on music that is REAL and talk about the pain, struggle, and truth. which most people are able to relate too. On the track They Don't Understand, it seems as if this song is dedicated to all the haters who doubted the Outlawz and are not happy with them, weather it's because of the direction of their music, or because some people have a misconception of the Outlawz as people.

My favorite track on the album, Ghetto Gospal Pt 2, produced by A.D. Future, has a lot of style and the flow just never misses a beat. Speaking of misconceptions, Young Noble says it best "You do not know me, no matter how many times you press rewind and quote me" . "it's deeper then a rap song". Tracks like this one, and also Listen 2 Me, seem to have positive messages directed at the younger generations, and people in general, "if it's worth having, it's worth working for. if it's worth loving, it's worth hurting for. if it's worth dying, it's worth living for". This album is very diverse, and if you are looking for something mellow, tracks such as These Are The Times, Smiling Faces, and Loosing My Mind will be exactly what the Doctor ordered . and for the hard hitting songs there are I Dare U, and Don't Get It Fucked Up, which on the latter has a shout-out to the website OutlawRecordz.net, but now 1NationEntertainment.net. which is fine, since if you go to past website address, it directs you to the correct place. For the south, there is Big Ballin', and a song for the West Coast, If U Want 2, was not left off the album either. Despite all the diversity on the album, the song that really should be felt by any music fan on any coast is Let It Burn. If there was one thing left off the album, I would say an extra song for females who have difficult situations, for example, a Baby Don't Cry type of song. But overall, with added Production from Dani Kartel, Reo, The Legendary Traxter, J-Mack, and more. and guest spots by TQ, Stormey and more.. I would say for any music fan who likes real music with good mixture, heart felt lyrics, and bangin' beats, this is a CD you want to add to your rotation.
