is it possible....and is there anything free...

ive looked on google only found trial stuff...

its not free but get yourself ulead gif animator you can open the swf and save it as a gif

looks like that one does avi....is there a way to make it do gif...i cant find the option...

If you have the fla file you can export to gif right from the flash program itself.

you used to get a program with Flash called 'After Shock'. That was really good for saving the files in the format that you wanted them in.
