Just wrapped up watching my beloved Mariners lose another won to the Chi sox...But Ichiro picked up another 3 hits.....He's now on pace to break last year's record. He's gotten a hit in all but one game this year and i think multi-hits in all but 2.....

I know he doesnt flaunt any power numbers but damn he's fun for us to watch here in the northwest. I'd be interested to hear how the rest of the country views him...

I think it's a little too early to be doing the "on pace" record predictions :) The Blue Jays are in first, so they are on pace to take the division and make the playoffs ahead of the Yankees and Red Sox.. will it happen?.. don't think so!

Too early to even think about his record pace.

If that were the case, Pat Burell is on pace to have 275 RBI's.

And Paul Konerko is on pace to hit 88 home runs. :winkwink:

ya, way to early to say he is on pace for this and this. He is a good hitter though.

Hes a great hitter. One of the best.

One of the best singles hitter ever. .869 OPS with a .372 avg last year.. even Kevin Millar was able to get a .857 OPS
