Anyone know how to fix exim mail server?

I can't seem to get any e-mails, sending out works but I can't receive them.

Rebooting server and restarting pop3 and exim still doesn't work.

    Help!!!

          as root user type this:

          netstat -anp | grep '110'

          - another program may be using port 110, stop that program and restart pop3
then, start the program you just stopped.

            nmap localhost

and take a look at POP3 port (110). If you don't see it. Your pop3 daemon is broken.
Just try to re-run it...and if it's still not there, then you'll need to configure it.
