Would you promote a site with non-recurring memberships?

Just trying to get some quick opinions on whether or not you would promote a paysite that didn't offer recurring billing. Let's say the terms were still 50% gross on sales, but the memberships offered were something like:

1 month: $30
2 months: $50
3 months: $60

All memberships non-recurring.

There's two theories I've been kicking around.
1) Are some people scared to sign up for something that recurrs? Maybe they've been burned in the past. Or maybe they have enough self-awareness that they know they'll forget to cancel.

2) Some people love to buy in bulk (Sam's Club shoppers), and these people will always go for the bigger deal, i.e., the $60 membership.

It just seems like you don't have to force someone to recurr. If they like your site, they'll re-up when their original membership expires.

no way,i still get rebills from 3 years ago

No and I dont think are affiliates would like it as the rebills as stated above are very lucrative with a good page and lots of updates :2 cents:

Hmmm, is there a distinction between recurring and rebilling?

For example, ninja mentioned he still got rebills from 3 years ago. Surely, this person doesn't have 3 consecutive years worth of memberships with the same site. Right? Who knows.

I'm just saying what if I don't have recurring billing set up, but you would still get all rebills.

For example, you send me a guy who buys a $60 membership. You get $30. At the end of 3 months his membership ends. 1 year later this guy comes back and signs up for another 3 monther, the affiliate would still get $30, because it's a rebill, but not a recurring rebill.

Right or wrong? I'm a little hazy.

i promote both revshare and PPS. i try to do as much revshare as i possibly can, because that is something you can build for the long term. but if i need cash fast i always go with PPS.
