I really dont see what the big deal is...

I got one..It was in a regular envelope... I opened it saw the promo and thats it...

Direct Mail Advertising its called. I am surprised more sponsors dont do this.

You can get a presorted rate from US Postal Service and send em out for like give or take less than 20 cents sometimes cheaper.

I welcome it, it's great to see companies take their marketing further than banner ads.

Made me look more into TR and I'm actually gonna push some traffic their way, I would have forgotten I was signed up with them if they didn't mail me.

for the kids that don't know Direct Mail Advertising is the best, and I'm sure after all the shit that has happened on this, you will be seeing a lot more if it. Direct Mail Advertising is way better than email way better. Only draw back is the expense of now days.

No problem at all getting some promo in the mail. Some of the guys that get pissed might still live at home and their parents open their mail.
Back in the day CCBill offered the oppertunity to send out some promo stuff with their affiliate checks, not sure if that still happens but I am all for direct mail. Lot of webmasters do not read the boards but they sure do cash the checks. Direct marketing is old school and it works. Now if they had called my house during dinner I would be pissed.

Email IS Direct Marketing/Direct Response, and quite frankly, if done properly -it is WAY MORE COST EFFECTIVE and OVERALL EFFECTIVE ... and the ROI MORE IMMEDIATE than snail mail :winkwink:

Snail mail is still a great way to DM/DR and people in this business are obviously taking notice!

Spam is for emails..... this is called direct marketing and since USPS gets its cut of the $$$ .........
