Why would anyone do the taxes themselves? The freaking EXPENSIVE CPA fee is deductible... lol

SureFire 04-15-2005 07:22 PM

Uhm - yes I am? Don't tell me you don't do that? :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

EDIT: Dunno if it's deductible for individuals (I doubt it), but for a company - why the hell not?

I asked my accountant that a year or two ago and he said I couldn't claim his fees.... I'm not doing this as a corporation either though. Maybe I should look into that further.

pornguy 04-15-2005 07:39 PM

My accountant might be dumb but if he does my taxes, I can claim (deduct) his expense next on year taxes. Using him to sort out my taxes and paying him prior to my tax ending date, I can deduct all his fees. You got me worried.

I just sent a big check :Oh crap

any tax preparation fees is a tax deduction on your schedule A form if you elect to itemize your deductions.

BIGTYMER 04-16-2005 01:32 AM

As a corporation (and maybe also as a sole proprietor, dunno) you can deduct any god damn business expense. An expensive CPA is one of them, and so is an expensive lawyer. It's all free money after all. :winkwink:
