Hey I was wondering if anyone has heard if the update is ready or not. I sent out an email but haven't heard anything yet. Omar mentioned the last time I chatted with him that it would be a few more days...but that was over a month ago.

I have seen several people on here that use the CMS...so thought maybe someone else heard something that I didn't. Several of my projects are on hold until the update comes out..so you can figure I can't wait for it to be ready.

I think it's still being tested... I had a look at it awhile back and it looks great. I can't wait for it to be released.

Well I have them on icq, but haven't seen them online lately, plus icq screws up and doesn't get the message out, email usually worked for me.

I have seen the new upgrade demo and a list of new features, and yes it looks just like what I need for my project....but haven't heard much more past that.. Maybe they will see this thread and get back to me here or in an email :thumbsup

I am playing with the new beta update but waiting for omar / support to get back to me so i can get things off the ground...

I have not even set up my templates yet, but if the new one is coming out soon, I want to wait. It would suck to do it all again.

Well, same problem here. I don't mind waiting some more for the new version, though I'd like to know when it comes out... I could use some of its new great features, but on the other hand if it'll take couple of months more to wait, I could set up some temporary sites right now.

From what Omar told me, the update is done, they are working on the migration from the earlier version to the newer... but he told me about 10 days, and that was a month ago...

Oh don't tell me that...because talking with Omar and him mentioning the updated version that they were coming out with was the only reason I purchased the software. Since the current version doesn't really do what I need. Though it is great for a solo girl site setup....but for mine I need a little deeper directory arrangement which is suppose to be in the upgrade (which I have seen in the demo) So I can only hope its not going to be another several months or I am not going to be to pleased then since I am already 1-2months behind on the start date for my projects.

hate to tell you, but they have been claiming they are finalizing an update for sitedepth for almost 6 months now...last I talked to omar and mike, mike showed me screencaps of the new version. I asked omar when it would be done and his response was...."hopefully soon"

this was october/november like I said, and this was fter 4-5 months of me bugging the fuck out of them asking when the next update would be...

i have all but given up on them to be honest, months and months of claiming the update is a month away....i have learned to work around the lack of video support and most of the other missing features

Well I sent them an email inquiring on whats up. So will see if I hear anything back or not in the next few days. If not I am going to have to find something else to take its place on my server. Just don't like spending money on promises that I can't use... So now I have software for a CMS that currently won't work for me.

Guess I am going to have to go start a completely different type of site just to use that CMS lol....
