Bah NO WAY!! I was actually born addicted to heroine and methadone. I was in the hospital for 10 days and owned by the state till I was off of it and adopted out 5 months later.

I've met the birth mother and she's a fucking nightmare. Really tall beautiful lady but led a life of drugs and is on methadone maintenance to this day! Rode hard and put away wet to say the least. She never could keep any of her 5 maybe it was 6 children.

To this day novacaine, morophine, anything like that growing up... does not work for me. I always wondered why too... Bad bad stuff.

Is it true you have to take methadone for the rest of your life?

I guess like she does. She had said the illness and physical pain is so utterly unbearable, etc etc.. but who know.

As a newborn I had it for 10 days as they weaned me off and there's never been any affects since. I'm a bit jittery and nervous by nature.. not sure if that has anything to do with anything though.
