Order an empty logo from your isp/ringtones place. That's how you get rid of it in Nokia's.. Atleast in nokias there's no option to hide it, you HAVE to buy the empty logo.

first search on google revealed this..

You can either call the Order Line or for O2, Orange, T-Mobile & Vodafone users, you can send a text to 87101 - a ringtone, logo, picture message or screensavers costs just GBP £1.50 and is sent directly to your mobile phone within minutes of placing your order (animated screensavers and polyphonic ringtones require retrieval via wap charged at your normal wap rates).
