My neighbor never walks her dogs...just lets them out.
 

There is dog shit all over her backyard. Since our yards are small and adjoined, it's smelling mine up too. I can't even have people over for a cookout without them noticing.

What should I do about this? I'm afraid to openly confront her because she has two delinquent sons who might firebomb my car or something.

Most cities have a dog leash law. You can't let your dogs run free. Just call the cops. :)

If there is a local branch of the ASPCA in your town, call them and register a complaint. They will contact her, because not providing sanitary conditions for animals to live/play in, is also considered to be a form of abuse.

This would be the best way to deal with it, because your complaint will be kept confidential and she won't know 'for sure' who turned her in. She'll only know that she must keep her yard clean or lose her dogs to the ASPCA. :thumbsup

Deal with it, dog shit is natural. I got two dogs that shit in my yard and if my neighbor has a problem with it I'll be out there with rubber gloves and a wrist rocket bombing their house and car with the dog shit.

My dogs go in my yard.....I thought that was what you were supposed to do?

collect all the dog shit, put it in a paper bag. put the bag on your neighbors front step, spray the bag with a little gasoline. light the bag on fire, then knock on the door and run.
this works good I done it as a kid. some fun when they try to step on it to put out the fire.
make sure the shit is the fresh, wet mushy kind, that works the best.
when they step on it they will slip and fall, now they have shit on their foot and ass and they are on fire, and oh yes, they also smell like shit.

small and adjoined yards makes me think condo or townhouse. we have a townhouse with small yards with fences between. i would file a complaint with your condo association if you have one. they will contact her...or the owner, if she's a renter.
