go on vacation, buy a new computer, buy some domains that will produce long term income, lots of possible deductions out there.

The whole point is to make them higher for the purpose of growing your business (more lunch meetings, picture sets, design services, domains, whatever). You're giving back free money. Not saying you should abuse it, but your expenses for business development should be higher anyway.

Thats nothing, Australia has the worst taxes, I pay 30% company tax, and the from the remainder I pay 48% tax as i'm on a 100k+ salary... :(

get more deductions so you drop out of that 33% bracket. do you have a corp or do you pay self employment tax also?

Out of a month, you work 2½ for uncle sam, and 2 for yourself. Ain't it great!

Move to scandinavia then. It's cheap. 27% corp taxes and up to 60% personal. + other expenses such as mandatory unemployment insurances, mandatory retirement funds etc. IT's GREAT.

Deductions man... get a lot of them, it will bring you WAY down if you think it out.
