So I prepare our daily mailing to be send and notice 99% of the POTDs are down. Not ours but affiliate programs. Big sites who all host at colo and post pics here too. Nice guys who help me out and I help them out.

So I add the ICQ ask whatsup and the guy at support says 2,5 hrs downtime cause were moving. Announced in the cpanel, youre no client, you could be mickey mouse so fuck off.

Told him we're not happy with support like that and wouldnt wanna cope with shit like that if we hosted there. So Im threathening him he says, curses some and leaves.

Damn what an asshole. Glad we never get this kinda attitude from our host. Pity for all these good guys who now get ccbill cant process emails and other shit they have to cope with, along with their "support"

they've been down alot lately man werent they down last week as well

mornin dude :) damn it sucks, nnm is down, csg is down everything and this stucked up guy tells me to fuck off. Unbelievable. I hate knowing everyones asleep and waking up with 50% less turnover.

I know were not hosting at them. But we ARE sending out a daily mailing with POTDs (also PAID spots) and theyre all down so I just replaced all the colo potd with non colo.

EVERY company has downtime. People always bitch and other people will always claim "go with a good company".

No company can guarantee a 100% uptime.

Colo is a great host, chris is always there to help. They've had some more downtime than usual in the past few months, thats why they moved. The move was announced 2 months ago through both email and cpanel. I have received about 3-4 emails about it in total. Should they spam their non-customers about it too or what?

IMO they do a good job and they work hard for it. My server has been down for about 2 hours or so...big deal, 2 hours on 365 days.

I love "quality" hosts with cpanel.. Shows how quality they are :pimp

Its not http://www.cpanel.net/, its their own cpanel where you see bandwidth stats, bills etc.

Control panels are for the CUSTOMER not for the HOSTER.
It doesn't say anything about the host.

However, cpanel is also an "in the box" control panel. Which is not used by serious hosts, because of the many flaws. Buy a server,some BW, add cpanel, and call yourself a host.

But Firefoz mentioned they do not use the software cpanel.net.
