If you get drunk, make an ass of yourself, do things you'll regret and are in sales..

Perhaps you should reconsider getting drunk while around people you intend to do business with.

On the flip side, if you can drink and still control your faculties and make a good impression, then go nuts, have a good time.

I just don't understand why people KNOW they do stupid stuff when they're drunk and still go out and get sloshed and then "hope" that they didn't do anything too damaging the night before.

If you have to worry, then perhaps you should use common sense and just avoid the risk entirely.

If you don't, I have no respect for you and don't care if your reputation gets trashed. You deserved it.

remember Hooper and the guy who threw that chair over the balcony damn near killed someone?

he said it brought him lots of publicity and nothing his drunk employees did mattered.

I think companies for the most part dont care once the drama hits the board.

Yeah, some do... some don't. I know there's drama going on about this topic tonight, it just reminded me of other cases. So I'm not stating this stuff just in response to tonight's allegations.

Anyway, I've known of several people in the industry that get very bent out of shape when you start even hinting at things they did while drunk... they're so worried about their reputation.

I just don't get it. If you stress that much after a convention about what you did, then why let yourself do it at the next convetion again?

I haven't had that problem for many years, shouldn't really say problem.

When I was drinking, I didn't give a flying fuck.

Have not drank for about 25 years and you know what? Still don't give a flying fuck. :2 cents: :2 cents:

No drinking when doing business with clients is rule1 in sales. Once the deal is done and all business out of the way, you can enjoy a drink or two.

Always remember that you want these people to give you their money since you are a professional and they are trusting you with their resources.
