Check out the letter dmoz sent me....

I applied to be an editor yesterday in a category that was said to "Need an editor" and they sent me this letter...

Anyone out there ever get this response..?? I was very surprised to get a reply so quick but I'm not sure if I should bother to re-apply.

Yah iv'e gotten a few just like it. AND I was going for some abscure cat. I've heard thru the grapevive that you have to start with an "non-adult" cat for awhile before they let you take an adult. (there are exceptions), probably like if you own an avs or stuff like that. If your an adult webmaster looking to get your own sites in, good luck, that's how I feel about it. So I just gave up.
I know they need some help cause I can't get shit in the dam thing. Except for some fnp sites.

I've been trying to get a few sites in a category that hasn't had an editor for a LONG time. I was just about to apply & they yanked that category...

I'm surprised you even got a response. I've submitted countless sites and applied to be an editor in an empty category and I've never heard back from them...
