First time to visit the Big Apple. I'm traveling by myself and arrive Friday, April 29th at 11:23AM. Anyone interested in meeting up and showing me around for a bit? Anyone have any advice for some decent clubs, etc? I'm meeting a girl in Manhattan that is a DJ so she's gonna take me record shopping and stuff. Just looking to have a good time as I'm in the middle of a nasty divorce as well. Any help is mucho appreciated! :thumbsup

Mos def in the plans. I got a killer flight so it's gonna give me alot of time in the city even though it will be a short trip (4 days). Arrive early and leave late Monday night.

Never been to New York...I would like to live there for at least 1 year at some point in my life..I think it would be rather interesting.

Take your time and visit Times Square, lots to see and do there. Good shopping on Madison Ave.

Empire State Building of Course., Rockefeller Center where NBC is, go see the Today show concerts in the center in morning, Little Italy for great food day or night, tickets to David Letterman show, Lexington Ave for shopping, Madison and 5th ave for high end shopping, Greenwich village for great rest/bars, etc, Central Park-enjoy spring and the boat house rest in park for lunch, Met Museum of Art (MOMA)-great! , Photography museum cool on 90 something st, go see a broadway show and tool around midtown then hit Times Square after which is very cool at night all lit up. Tribeca up and coming some nice street fairs. ground zero,

have to think of more, this is off the top of my head. Hope it helps ;)
